Sweet sweet Agnus was found stray and brought to a local shelter. With the label of "lethal white
aussie" she didn't stand much of a chance at getting adopted. She was taken into the CCHS adoption
program where she is safe and sound awaiting a forever home.
Agnus had a lump on her chest, a few broken teeth, and a hernia the size of a softball. The vet working on her was able to remove and repair the hernia and lump. She is expected to make a full recovery but will need to take it easy the next couple weeks while she recovers. She did test HW negative!!! And the vet says that she is not blind. She doesn't have good peripheral vision, but she can see just fine. Her hearing is impaired, but not completely gone so she can only detect some tones.
All that behind her... Agnus does great w/ dogs, cats and kids of all shapes and sizes. She is housebroken and crate trained. She walks well on a leash and is a totally love bug. She has a beautiful coat and the prettiest ice blue eyes that will melt your heart. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, microchipped and all ready for a forever home!
UPDATE: They found more masses in her breasts. She has a mastectomy and the results were sent off to the lab. Turns out that they were benign!!! She is good to go on and live a long happy life with her forever home!
Update: Agnus was Adopted!
