Rainbow Bridge - This is Ducan's Story (passed on 05/26/09)

Duncan was found stray and taken in by a kind stranger. Despite her best efforts to find his owners... no one stepped forward to claim him. CCHS was contacted to help find him a forever home.

He tested positive for heartworms and was treated. During his period of bed rest he was lethargic but had no signs of distress. He died while his foster mom was at work due to the stress on his heart from the treatment.

Thank you Carol and Chris for taking him in and giving him a warm and loving place to spend the last few weeks of his life.
